The Kybalion is an anthology of Hermetic teachings. These teachings are founded on concepts first articulated by Hermes Trismegistus. The Kybalion presents pupils with a Master-Key to unlock the foundational and essential truths of esoteric philosophy. The entire concept is founded on seven Hermetic principles. These seven principles, taken together, provide an explanation of the fundamental rules that govern all of existence.
The Three Initiates are credited with the work. If you go further, you’ll find that the hermetic information was most likely passed down from the late Yogi Ramacharaka through his disciple Baba Bharata to William Walker Atkinson, a famous New Thought writer.

He was known as the “scribe of the gods” by the early Egyptians. The Greeks worshipped him as the deity of Wisdom. Mercury was the name given to him by the ancient Romans. Hermes discovered alchemy, which evolved into chemistry, which Hermes discovered. He developed the notion of astrology, which evolved into astronomy.
